AIN AL-HILWEH, Lebanon, June 3 (Reuters) - Islamist militants clashed with the Lebanese army at an entrance to Ain Al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in south Lebanon, witnesses said. They said the clashes were taking place near an army position at the northern entrance of the camp after militants from the Sunni Muslim Jund al-Sham group attacked an army checkpoint. The clashes came as Lebanese troops were engaged in a two-week-old battle with al Qaeda-inspired militants in the Nahr al-Bared camp in north Lebanon.
