Opposition leaders head for Nairobi rally

NAIROBI, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Kenyan opposition leaders left their Nairobi headquarters on Thursday en route to a scheduled rally, which police have banned, as a crowd of supporters surged behind them, a Reuters witness said. The attempt by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders to reach Nairobi's Uhuru Park was likely to add to chaos in the Kenyan capital, where police have battled protesters all morning.
