Feb 3 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 2100 GMT on Sunday.

* BAGHDAD - One U.S. soldier was killed when a rocket- propelled grenade hit his vehicle while he was on patrol in eastern Baghdad last Thursday, the U.S. military said.

* BAGHDAD - Three bodies were found in different districts of Baghdad on Sunday, police said.

BAGHDAD - Coalition forces killed three militants and detained 36 suspects during operations in central and northern Iraq on Saturday and Sunday, the U.S. military said.

BAQUBA - Gunmen killed four neighbourhood patrol policemen when they stormed their headquarters in western Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAQUBA - A bomb blast wounded Hussain al-Zubaidi, a member of Diyala's provincial council, and two of his guards at his office in central Baquba, police said.

MOSUL - A car bomb wounded two people when it exploded in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

KUT - Gunmen killed a policeman in a drive-by shooting south of Kut, 170 km (105 miles) southeast of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Five bodies were found in different areas of Baghdad on Saturday, police said.

BAGHDAD - Lieutenant-Colonel Ahmed Ibrahim, a senior Interior Ministry policeman, was killed and two of his guards were wounded by a bomb planted in his car in western Baghdad's Mansour district, western Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Two people were killed and three wounded in clashes between gunmen and Iraqi security forces in northwestern Baghdad's Kadhimiya district on Saturday, police said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen in a convoy of vehicles abducted three policemen from their checkpoint in northern Baghdad's Ur district on Saturday, police said.

BAGHDAD - Guards working for a foreign security company shot and wounded a man near Baghdad's Mansour district, police said.
