The crash in the Lebanese village of Mays al-Jabal also injured two Polish soldiers, the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said. The witnesses said a 40-year-old man, his wife, 35, and their two children aged 7 and 9 were killed. They had earlier provided different ages for the children. UNIFIL's deputy spokesperson Yasmina Bouziane said the crash "involving a Polish logistics convoy" and an inquiry was underway to "determine the circumstances of the accident". UNIFIL was created in 1978, after Israel's first major incursion into southern Lebanon, and has been there ever since.
