July 4 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 18:15 GMT on Wednesday:

* RAMADI - A car bomb killed four people including two policemen near the western city of Ramadi, police said. They said 15 people were wounded.

* TIKRIT - A U.S. soldier on board a military helicopter was killed when the aircraft was forced down in northern Iraq, the military said.

* BAGHDAD - One soldier was killed during combat operations in southern Baghdad, the military said.

SAMARRA - Four policemen were killed and two were wounded by a roadside bomb in Samarra, 100 km (62 miles) north of Baghdad, the police said.

BAGHDAD - Iraqi security forces detained an alleged insurgent cleric and three other suspects in raids in Mosul on Tuesday, the U.S. military said on Wednesday.

BAIJI - A suicide car bomber killed three policemen and four civilians outside a restaurant in Baiji, 180 km (120 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. Eighteen people were wounded.

BAGHDAD - One Iraqi soldier was killed and three were wounded by a roadside bomb in western Baghdad targeting their vehicle, police said

BAGHDAD - A suicide car bomber killed two policemen and wounded seven officers in an attack on a police checkpoint in western Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - Gunmen killed two policemen and wounded two officers in a drive-by-shooting in the southern part of the oil -rich city of Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - Three Iraqi soldiers were wounded by a roadside bomb targeting their patrol in southwest Kirkuk, police said.

KIRKUK - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol wounded two policemen when it exploded near their vehicle in southern Kirkuk, police said.

TIKRIT - Gunmen killed an Iraqi soldier at a fake checkpoint near Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

SULEIMAN BEG - One Iraqi soldier was killed by a roadside bomb targeting an army patrol in Suleiman Beg, about 90 km (55 miles) from the northern city of Kirkuk, police said. Three other soldiers were wounded.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces killed an estimated 25 insurgents during fighting near Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, in a three-day operation that ended on Monday, the U.S. military said.

HILLA - Three Iraqi soldiers were wounded by a mortar attack on their camp near Hilla, 100 km (62 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - U.S. soldiers detained 12 suspected militants in the Adhamiya district of northern Baghdad on Monday, the U.S. military said.

MOSUL - Iraqi and U.S. soldiers detained two suspected militants during raids in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, on Sunday, the U.S. military said on Wednesday.
