Somali gunmen free Libyan diplomats in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Somali gunmen freed two Libyan diplomats hours after seizing them while they shopped in Mogadishu's Bakara Market, witnesses said.

"The acting ambassador and the other diplomat have just arrived back here unharmed," a security guard at the Libyan Embassy in the Somali capital told Reuters. (Reporting by Abdi Sheikh)
