GAZA, Nov 5 (Reuters) - An Israeli air strike in northern Gaza killed a Palestinian and wounded several others on Sunday, Palestinian security sources and witnesses said.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli army. Palestinian witnesses said a missile struck near a car belonging to the Islamic Jihad militant group. The identity of the man who was killed was not immediately clear.

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces shot dead two Palestinian gunmen and a police officer and kept up missile strikes against militant targets in the northern Gaza Strip, residents and medical officials said.
