June 5 (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed on Wednesday by small arms fire during a patrol south of Baghdad, the U.S. military said on Thursday.

Earlier, Georgia said one of its soldiers was killed in Iraq, its third fatality since the former Soviet state deployed its contingent in 2003.

Following are the latest figures for soldiers and civilians killed since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003:
