(Updates with separate U.S. incident and Brit casualty) March 6 (Reuters) - Six U.S. soldiers were killed by a blast north of Baghdad on Monday, the U.S. military said on Tuesday, in one of the single deadliest ground attacks against American forces in Iraq in months. In the separate incident also on Monday, three U.S. soldiers were killed and one wounded by a blast near their vehicles in Diyala province, northeast of Baghdad. A U.S. soldier was killed and another wounded on Sunday when a roadside bomb exploded near their vehicle south of Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said. A British soldier died on Sunday as a result of injuries he sustained during a patrol in south Basra. Following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003: U.S.-LED COALITION FORCES: United States 3,185 Britain 134 Other nations 124 IRAQIS: Military Between 4,900 and 6,375# Civilians Between 57,805 and 63,573* # = Think-tank estimates for military under Saddam Hussein killed during the 2003 war. No reliable official figures have been issued since new security forces were set up in late 2003. * = From www.iraqbodycount.net (IBC), run by academics and peace activists, based on reports from at least two media sources. IBC says on its Web site that the figure underestimates the true number of casualties.
