Israeli troops kill Palestinian in Jenin-medics

JENIN, West Bank, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian man on Monday during a raid into the West Bank town of Jenin, Palestinian medics said.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was checking the report.

Israel says it frequently raids West Bank cities to try to root out militants. (Reporting by Mohammed Assadi)
