NAIROBI, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki on Tuesday announced part of his new cabinet, including Amos Kimunya as finance minister, amid a political crisis in which almost 500 people have died.

Kimunya served the same role in Kibaki's previous government. In a televised address to the nation, Kibaki said he was ready to name half of his new government after his disputed re-election in polls on Dec. 27.
