Algeria bomb death toll rises to 22-sources

DELLYS, Algeria, Sept 8 (Reuters) - The death toll from a bomb attack on a coast guards barracks in eastern Algeria on Saturday has risen to 22, hospital sources said.

The previous toll given by authorities after the blast in Dellys town 100 km (62 miles) east of Algiers was 17. Residents in the Mediterranean port said the attack had been carried out by a suicide truck bomber.
