June 8 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1430 GMT on Friday:

* BAQUBA - Gunmen attacked the home of a senior police official in Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, killing 14 people. One police source said Colonel Ali Dilayan Ahmed's wife, two brothers and 11 bodyguards were killed and four of his children kidnapped. Another source said Ahmed's wife, two sons and at least one brother were among those killed and that the bodies of six people taken from the house had been found nearby.

BASRA - Twelve people were killed and 33 wounded when a minibus exploded in Qurna, near the southern Iraqi city of Basra, hospital sources said. Police, who put the death toll at eight, said the bus was packed with rockets, mortar bombs and fuel and exploded at a bus terminal in a crowded market.

* DAKOK - Nineteen people were killed and 20 wounded when a car bomb exploded outside a Shi'ite in Dakok southwest of Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad.

FALLUJA - The bodies of four men kidnapped from Ramadi were found in al-Khalidiah near Falluja, 50 km (30 miles) west of Baghdad, police said. All had been tortured and shot.

ANBAR - U.S. and Iraqi soldiers killed one suspected insurgent and detained 12 others in raids targeting al Qaeda in Iraq in Anbar province west of Baghdad, police said.

BAQUBA - A roadside bomb killed two high-ranking police officers and wounded a third south of Baquba, police said.
