Jan 8 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 2030 GMT on Tuesday.

* TIKRIT - A roadside bomb exploded in the centre of the city of Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, striking a police car and wounding 3 policemen, police said.

* MOSUL - Police found the bodies of three people in different parts of the Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad.

* SHURA - A roadside bomb exploded in the town of Shura, 50 km (35 miles) south of Mosul, killing one civilian, police said.

* BAGHDAD - A police officer and his driver were kidnapped in their car at a checkpoint while travelling from Baghdad to Baquba in Diyala province, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Five bodies were found in Baghdad during the past 24 hours, police said.

MADAEN - A suicide bomber wearing an explosives vest attacked a police checkpoint, killing one policeman and wounding another along with two civilians in Madaen, 45 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed the chief of Yarmouk District Council, Salih Mansour Hussein, and wounded two of his bodyguards in Yarmouk in western Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed a police colonel in his car in the Zaafaraniya district of southern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed the deputy manager of the Mansour district tax office in western Baghdad, police said.

KUT - Police said a lawyer was accidentally shot and killed by policemen during an exchange of fire with gunmen in northern Kut, 170 km (100 miles) southeast of Baghdad.

NEAR HILLA - Gunmen shot and wounded a former army officer on Monday south of Hilla, 100 km (60 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.
