Hamas urges attacks in Israel after Gaza shelling

GAZA, Nov 8 (Reuters) - A senior Hamas official on Wednesday urged Palestinians to carry out attacks inside Israel in response to the shelling of a Gaza town that killed 18 civilians.

"We urge our mujahadeen to resume bombing attacks in Jaffa, in Haifa, in Ashdod -- every place in our homeland," said Nizar Rayan, a hardline leader in the governing Hamas Islamist faction.
