May 9 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1315 GMT on Friday.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces killed 14 militants in the Baghdad slum of Sadr City on Thursday, the military said. Hospitals in Sadr City said they had received four bodies and 51 wounded. Children were among those hurt.

BAIJI - Gunmen shot dead three U.S.-backed neighbourhood patrol members near their checkpoints in Baiji, 180 km (112 miles) north of Baghdad, the captain of the Baiji police force, Imad al-Qaisi, said.

BAGHDAD - A rocket hit the BBC office in Baghdad, but no one was wounded in the attack, the British broadcaster said.

KIRKUK - Four Iraqi soldiers were wounded when a roadside bomb hit their convoy in southwest Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

NEAR BALAD - Three policemen and five civilians were wounded when militants fired rifles and rocket propelled grenades at a police station near the town of Balad, 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad, then set fire to it, police said.

BAGHDAD - Three civilians were wounded when a Katyusha rocket landed in Mansour district, western Baghdad, police said.
