Aug 9 (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb in western Baghdad on Tuesday, the U.S. military said.

A British soldier was killed on Tuesday by small arms fire in the southern city of Basra, Britain's Defence Ministry said.

The U.S-led military coalition toll includes casualties from Iraq and the surrounding area where troops are stationed.
