JOHANNESBURG, May 10 (Reuters) - The leader of Zimbabwe's main opposition group said on Saturday he would return home within two days to prepare for an election run-off in which he hopes to unseat veteran President Robert Mugabe.

"I shall return to Zimbabwe within the next two days," Tsvangirai said in a statement.

Tsvangirai left Zimbabwe shortly after the elections and has been engaging in regional shuttle diplomacy to garner support. (Writing by Caroline Drees; editing by Sami Aboudi)
