Zimbabwe opposition leader arrested

HARARE, March 11 (Reuters) - Zimbabwe riot police arrested opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai and other opposition officials on Sunday as they suppressed a prayer rally in a crackdown on protests against President Robert Mugabe.

"Mr. Tsvangirai has also been arrested," main opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) information officer Luke Tamborinyoka told Reuters. "We don't know where he is being held at the moment."
