Nov 11 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 0900 GMT on Sunday.

NEAR HILLA - The body of a man who had been shot in the head was found in al Qasim, 30 km (18 miles) south of Hilla, police said.

DIYALA PROVINCE - One U.S. soldier was killed in an explosion while conducting operations in Diyala province on Friday, the U.S. military said.

DIWANIYA - Gunmen fired 12 missiles at Camp Echo, which houses Polish, U.S. and other coalition forces, in Diwaniya on Saturday, police said. They said the soldiers returned fire with six rockets or mortars that landed in Nahdha district. The local hospital said one person was killed and six wounded.
