GAZA, Oct 12 (Reuters) - An Israeli missile fired from an unmanned drone killed a girl and wounded nine other people in the Shijaia neighbourhood in Gaza City on Thursday, local residents said and hospital staff said.

An Israeli army spokesman had no details but said he was checking the report.

Local residents the missile was aimed at a senior Hamas militant living in the area and he survived the attack. Local residents said his house was completely destroyed by the missile.
