(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1830 GMT on Thursday:

* denotes new or updated item.

* BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber killed eight people in the Iraqi parliament in Baghdad's heavily protected Green Zone.

* KIRKUK - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol killed six civilians and wounded 19 others, police said.

* KIRKUK - Gunmen killed a man and wounded two others in Kirkuk, 250 km (150 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* KIRKUK - A roadside bomb targeting the convoy of Yadgar Shukur, the head of the Joint Iraqi-U.S. Coordination Centre of Kirkuk, wounded two of his guards, police said. Shukur was not in the convoy.

* BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb in a predominantly Shi'ite area in the central Karrada district killed one civilian and wounded three, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Police said they found 11 bodies across Baghdad in the past 24 hours.

* BAGHDAD - Mortar rounds landed in a residential area in southern Baghdad, killing one civilian and wounding another, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed one of the former justice minister's bodyguards and wounded the other bodyguard in a drive-by shooting in central Baghdad, police said.

* BAGHDAD - A truck bomb killed at least seven people on Sarafiya bridge in northern Baghdad, destroying most of the steel structure and sending several cars plunging into the River Tigris below.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces killed two insurgents and wounded 17 others during raid operations in Haditha, Garma and Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

MOSUL - Gunmen killed a policeman guarding civil servants on a bus in the northern city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. One gunman was killed in the incident.
