JERUSALEM, June 13 (Reuters) - Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak claimed victory on Wednesday in the leadership race for Israel's Labour Party over his challenger, former intelligence chief Ami Ayalon. "I take office as the chairman of the Labour Party ... I have been chosen to lead, but I intend to do so together with Ami and the other wonderful people in this party," Barak said in his victory speech. As votes were being counted, Israel Radio estimated 53 percent for Barak and 47 percent for Ayalon. Earlier exit polls predicted a narrower Barak victory.
