Russia sees Sakhalin-2 budget compromise by Q1 '07

MOSCOW, Dec 12 (Reuters) - Russia hopes to reach a compromise with operator Sakhalin Energy on the Sakhalin-2 budget no later than in the first quarter of 2007, Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko told a news conference on Tuesday.

"I would like it (the Sakhalin-2 budget deal) to happen no later than the first quarter of 2007," Khristenko said.
