Gunmen seize Hamas official in Gaza - Hamas source
13 May 2007 15:27:06 GMT
Source: Reuters
GAZA, May 13 (Reuters) - Unidentified gunmen seized a Hamas official in Gaza City on Sunday, a Hamas source said and blamed the kidnapping on the rival Fatah group.

Fatah had no immediate comment on the claim that Ali al-Sharif, a lecturer at the pro-Hamas Islamic University in Gaza City, had been abducted. The incident came several hours after a top Fatah commander and another group member were killed in a shooting blamed on Hamas.
