BEIRUT, Feb 13 (Reuters) - A car bomb in Damascus on Tuesday killed Hezbollah commander Imad Moughniyah, the group said, announcing the death of the man widely believed to be behind a wave of Western hostage taking in Lebanon in the 1980s.

The group in a statement accused Israel of the killing.
