JERUSALEM, March 13 (Reuters) - An Israeli state inquiry into the failings of last year's Lebanon war will issue interim findings next month with statements on the responsibility of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, a panel spokesman said on Tuesday.

The Winograd Commission's report will come out in the second half of April, spokesman Eli Shaked said in a statement.

He added that a chapter on the government's decision to launch the 34-day war against Lebanese Hezbollah would include "personal conclusions regarding the responsibility of the prime minister, defense minister, and military chief of staff".
