JERUSALEM, Jan 1 (Reuters) - Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak's Labour party has rallied ahead of a Feb. 10 election though it still trails the right-wing Likud and ruling, centrist Kadima, an opinion poll showed on Thursday.

The findings appeared to reflect public confidence in Barak, a former prime minister and armed forces chief, as Israel pressed an a 6-day-old offensive in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.
