U.N. talks agree blueprint for fighting warming

VALENCIA, Spain, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Climate experts agreed a U.N. blueprint on Friday for fighting global warming that warns that governments will have to act within years to avert the worst impacts, an author said. Bill Hare, a climate scientist who wrote part of the report, told Reuters that the meeting of the U.N. climate panel in Valencia ended with delegates standing and applauding the agreement on a final summary for policymakers.
