CAIRO, March 19 (Reuters) - A 2-year-old Egyptian boy has tested positive for bird flu, becoming the country's 26th human case of avian influenza, Egypt's health ministry said in a statement on Monday.

The statement gave the child's name as Youssef Mohamed Mahmoud and said he had been admitted to hospital in the southern city of Aswan on Friday suffering from fever after exposure to birds suspected of being infected with the deadly virus.
