GENEVA, Feb 20 (Reuters) - An outbreak of Ebola fever in Uganda's western Bundibugyo district has officially ended, the World Health Organisation (WHO) said on Wednesday.

"The last person to be infected by the virus was discharged on Jan. 8. This is more than double the maximum incubation period (42 days) for Ebola," the WHO said in a statement. (Reporting by Laura MacInnis; Editing by Catherine Evans)
