SIERRA LEONE COURT FINDS THREE EX-MILITIA LEADERS GUILTY OF WAR

FREETOWN, June 20 (Reuters) - Sierra Leone's U.N.-backed special court on Wednesday found three former militia leaders guilty on several counts of war crimes, a spokesman said.

The verdicts were the first delivered by the Sierra Leone court in prosecutions arising from a 1991-2002 civil war that also target former Liberian President Charles Taylor.
