Spanish soldier killed, 2 wounded in Afghanistan

MADRID, Feb 21 (Reuters) - One Spanish soldier was killed and two were wounded when their convoy was attacked in southern Afghanistan, the defence ministry said on Wednesday.

The convoy was attacked near Shindand, south of Herat, where Spanish troops are based, the ministry said.
