Nov 22 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1930 GMT on Thursday.

* BAGHDAD - Four bodies were found in different areas of Baghdad in the past 24 hours, police said.

* BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting an army patrol wounded two soldiers in central Baghdad, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Teenagers on a motorbike threw a hand grenade at a police checkpoint in Yarmouk in western Baghdad, wounding a soldier, police said.

* MOSUL - The decapitated body of university lecturer from Tikrit was found in the city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Coalition forces said they killed one insurgent and detained 10 suspects during operations targeting al Qaeda in central and northern Iraq.

RAMADI - Security forces and neighbourhood police units detained 10 suspected al Qaeda gunmen near the city of Ramadi, 110 km (70 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Insurgents fired 10 mortar bombs at Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone, police said. A Reuters witness saw what appeared to be a body hanging from a damaged minibus. Police said there were casualties but had not details.

KIRKUK - Gunmen killed a member of a municipal council near Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. The official was driving when he was shot from another vehicle.

MOSUL - A car bomb targeting a police patrol killed two civilians and wounded 12 people, including two policemen, in a southern area of Mosul, police said.

BAGHDAD - Al Qaeda militants killed at least eight members of a neighbourhood police patrol and at least two Iraqi soldiers in southern Baghdad, police said.

RAMADI - At least 13 decomposing bodies, including four women and four children, were recovered from a mass grave in the city of Ramadi, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb killed one policeman and wounded another in Mosul, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol wounded three people, including one policeman, in central Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded two people in the Talbiya district of eastern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting a police commando patrol wounded two policemen in the Diyala Bridge district of southern Baghdad, police said.

NEAR HILLA - The body of a man was found shot near the city of Hilla, 100 km (60 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - The decapitated body of a man was found in the city of Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. The body also showed signs of torture.

KERBALA - Iraqi soldiers detained 35 suspected militants in Kerbala, 110 km (70 miles) southwest of Baghdad, the Iraqi government said in a statement. Another three people were detained while they were planting explosives and weapons including more than 7,000 rifles and 102 rocket-propelled grenade launchers were seized, it said.
