JOHANNESBURG, March 22 (Reuters) - Former Congolese rebel leader Jean-Pierre Bemba took refuge in the South African embassy in Kinshasa on Thursday after his men fought gunbattles with government troops, South Africa's foreign ministry said. "Bemba has taken refuge in the South African embassy as a temporary measure," South African foreign ministry spokesman Ronnie Mamoepa told Reuters.
