CANNES, France, May 24 (Reuters) - The 60th Cannes Film Festival is drawing to a close, with Hollywood glamour launching one last assault for the premiere of "Ocean's Thirteen" on Thursday. Here are some snippets of news and views along the famed Croisette waterfront. CLOONEY KISS GOES FOR A SONG George Clooney raised an impressive $350,000 at auction for a kiss. At a charity evening hosted by actress Sharon Stone, the heartthrob embraced a female guest to raise money for the amfAR AIDS foundation, which regularly hosts a charity auction during the Cannes Film Festival. KYLIE COMEBACK The other highlight of the star-studded night was a brief set by Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, who was joined by Stone on stage during the performance. The amfAR event, which charges between $30,000 and $100,000 per table, raised a reported $7.5 million for charity. ...AND YET MORE CHARITY And not to be left out, the cast and crew of Hollywood heist movie "Ocean's Thirteen" held a charity bash of their own during Cannes this year and raised $10 million, and in June they head to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Chicago for similar events.
