May 27 (Reuters) - Two U.S. soldiers have been killed in Iraq, the U.S. military said on Sunday, pushing May to the brink of becoming the deadliest month for U.S. forces this year.

One was killed by a roadside bomb in western Baghdad, while the other was also killed by a bomb in volatile Diyala province north of the capital. Following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003:
