JERUSALEM, June 25 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert persuaded his biggest coalition partner, the Labour party, on Wednesday to withdraw support for an opposition bill to dissolve parliament, Israel Radio reported.

The reported deal averted a likely split in the government that would have triggered an early election and held up Israeli peace talks with the Palestinians and Syria.
