Car bomb kills 18 people in Iraqi city

BAGHDAD, June 26 (Reuters) - A car bomb exploded near the provincial governor's office in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Thursday, killing 18 people and wounding 62, Governor Duraid Kashmula said.

The bomb exploded soon after two Katyusha rockets landed near Kashmula's office in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. (Reporting by Ahmed Rasheed, Khalid al-Ansary; Writing by Adrian Croft; Editing by Dean Yates)
