Somali gunmen kidnap Danish UN workers - residents

MOGADISHU, June 28 (Reuters) - Somali gunmen kidnapped two Danish United Nations workers in the Bakool region of south central Somalia on Saturday, residents said.

"Heavily armed Islamists attacked Hudur town. The Islamists then kidnapped two Danish men working for Mine Action (U.N.) who were giving seminars on clearing land mines," resident Farah Ismail told Reuters.
