ISMAILIA, Egypt, Aug 31 (Reuters) - An Egyptian man was shot and wounded in the border town of Rafah on Friday, hit by a bullet that strayed across the border from Gaza during a clash between Hamas and Fatah gunmen, Egyptian security sources said. The sources said the 27-year-old man, Eissa Said Attiya, was shot while walking in the street near his house in a residential neighbourhood just over the border in Egypt. He was in a stable condition in hospital, they said. Factional tensions in Gaza continued to simmer on Friday when thousands of men from the President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement used open-air Friday prayers to protest against the Hamas Islamist takeover of the Palestinian enclave.
