ISTANBUL, July 6 (Reuters) - Five people were killed and eight were injured when a roadside bomb destroyed the vehicle in which they were travelling in southeastern Turkey, broadcaster CNN Turk reported on Monday. The vehicle was carrying workers in the province of Sirnak, it said. No further details were immediately available. Similar explosive devices have been planted frequently in the past by Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrillas in a 25-year-old conflict that has claimed the lives of 40,000 people.
