Israel temporarily holds fire in Gaza to let in aid

JERUSALEM, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Israel on Wednesday put military operations in parts of the Gaza Strip on hold, for a period expected to last three hours, to enable aid to flow through a humanitarian corridor, officials said.
