HARARE, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe said on Monday there had not yet been a breakthrough in power-sharing talks but negotiations were moving forward.

"We are moving forward, we are not going back," he said, as he left the Harare hotel where South African President Thabo Mbeki was mediating between rival parties after several hours of meetings.

Asked whether a deal had been reached, Mugabe said: "Not yet".

Opposition MDC spokesman Nelson Chamisa told reporters the talks were to resume on Tuesday. (Reporting by Cris Chinaka)
