Israel kills Palestinian in West Bank -rescue service

JERUSALEM, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Israeli security forces shot and killed a Palestinian on Thursday in a confronation in the occupied West Bank, Israel's Zaka rescue service said.

Israel Radio said police had shot the Palestinian in a confrontation after he set fire to a gas station at a Jewish settlement in the West Bank near Jerusalem. (Editing by Louise Ireland)
