Warehouse fire kills at least 16 in Kazakh capital

ASTANA, Nov 9 (Reuters) - A fire at a plastic foam warehouse on the outskirts of Kazakhstan's capital Astana killed at least 16 people on Monday, the emergencies ministry said.

"The search for victims is continuing," it said in a statement, adding that the cause of the fire, which started at about 5 p.m. (11.00 GMT), remained unknown. (Reporting by Raushan Nurshayeva; Writing by Olzhas Auyezov; Editing by Louise Ireland)
