DAR ES SALAAM, March 10 (Reuters) - The head of the International Monetary Fund said on Tuesday he expects a summit of the Group of 20 leaders in April to agree on doubling IMF resources to help countries hit by the global financial crisis.

"I am confident that at the final summit in April the doubling of resources of the IMF will be achieved," IMF Managing Director Dominique Stauss-Kahn told a news conference in the Tanzanian capital.
