No drawing of Shebaa borders under occupation-Syria

DAMASCUS, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Syria said on Thursday the borders of the Israeli-occupied Shebaa Farms would not be demarcated until the Jewish state withdrew from the area. Israel considers Shebaa Farms part of the Golan Heights, which it occupied in 1967, while Syria and Lebanon say they are Lebanese. The statement meant the borders of the disputed territory would not be included in the work of a committee which Syria and Lebanon pledged to reactivate to formally define their borders. "The definition of (the borders of) the Shebaa Farms cannot happen under occupation," Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem told a news conference in Damascus at the end of a Syrian-Lebanese summit.
