GENEVA, June 15 (Reuters) - The following lists the most and least risky places for natural disasters, in terms of likely deaths, according to the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR).

The index covers some 200 countries and territories.

Highest Mortality Risk:

Category 9 (major) Bangladesh China Colombia India Indonesia Myanmar

Category 8 (very high) Afghanistan Guatemala Iran Pakistan Peru Philippines Romania Uzbekistan

Lowest Mortality Risk:

Category 1 (negligible) Greenland Wallis and Futuna

Category 0 (unknown exposure) Bahrain Denmark Estonia Finland Isle of Man Latvia Mayotte Norfolk Island Qatar Saint Pierre et Miquelon Seychelles United Arab Emirates

NOTES. Countries and territories are listed alphabetically within each category. Category 0 is described as "unknown exposure" as there is never zero risk; in some cases conditions could not be checked; risk can change because of climate change.
