Aug 24 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1245 GMT on Sunday. * denotes new or updated items * BALAD RUZ - A roadside bomb killed four soldiers and wounded eight when it exploded near an Iraqi army patrol in Balad Ruz, 90 km (55 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said. * BAQUBA - A roadside bomb killed three people and wounded five others in an area just southeast of Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said. * BAQUBA - Gunmen killed two policemen and wounded six in an attack on a police checkpoint in central Baquba, police said. * SUWAYRA - The bodies of two men bearing gunshot wounds were recovered from the Tigris river in Suwayra, 50 km (30 miles) southeast of Baghdad, police said. * BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded two people in the district of Doura, in southern Baghdad, police said. BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs exploding in quick succession near a police patrol killed four people, including a policeman, and wounded 15 in the district of Nahda, in central Baghdad, police said. HILLA - Gunmen wounded two people in a drive-by shooting in southern Hilla, 100 km (60 miles) south of Baghdad, on Saturday, police said.
